One example that immediately comes to mind is the following really serious topic we have been seeing lately! In fact, several of our last jobs or work, was to fix or rectify “incorrect” or “security Risk” original installations! The wires could simply be “clipped out”, and held apart to gain entry then put the wires back after leaving! Welcome to TTTS Coastal Trade and Security (PTY) Ltd. Another common occurrence, as we walk roads to drop fliers and talk to clients with electric fences is this. I can plainly and clearly see that the electric fence cannot have a COC. I know – I do this for a living now for over 18 years. After introducing myself and the client or home owner states that they already have a coc. Just done a week ago.

Well, well, well. As a result, I look again at the electric fence and see a few COC non-negotiables to wrote a certificate, and explain. But to no avail as the client says already has a coc. A few examples are no warning signs, rust, sliding gate not even connected or incorrectly connected, no earth spikes etc. Not to mention live wires under the 1,8m height where the general public can gain access to or easily touch!

We can’t stress the point enough: “PLEASE GET A COC TO AVOID LEGAL AND OR LIABLITY ISSUES”!
